Dreamtime

48x60 Oil on Canvas

What we see. And What we think we see.

30x24 Oil on Canvas

These calligraphic marks seem almost instinctual and without thought. That's the way I like to paint. Just get lost. The only thing better then losing yourself in the act of painting is the thought that someday, it might happen again.

The Killer's Wife

I submitted this painting to the recent 35th Annual Members Exhibition at the Academy Art Museum in Easton, Maryland and walked away with the Lee Lawrie Award for Best in Show. WOW..Totally unexpected, but very greatful. I had previously won the 25th annual Lee Lawrie Award ten years earlier...if I'm still around, maybe I will shoot for the 45th as well.
